Profile/History
Originally founded in 1974 as the Heat Tracing Division of
Cooperheat-MQS, Inc.,
HTD Heat Trace was incorporated in the State of New Jersey in 1996.
For thirty years, the company has specialized in the development of low
watt density, electric heaters and heating systems that provide an
economical, efficient, clean and safe alternate to steam tracing and
other types of hot fluid circulation systems. Our
products, engineering expertise and technology have been used worldwide
on many major Power, Chemical, Petrochemical, Pulp/Paper, Mining,
Research and General Industrial Projects.
As the Heat Tracing Division of Cooperheat we developed unique products
and systems for specific applications. Manufacturing of these products
and systems were subcontracted to various companies around the world.
After we becoming a separate corporation, we opened our own production
facility and began manufacturing these products and systems ourselves
to better control all facets of our business. With
reduced costs and quality improvements inherent with being the
manufacturer, HTD Heat Trace has sustained significant growth and most recently,
have relocated our headquarters and complete manufacturing operation
to a new, larger facility in central New Jersey.
Opposing the trend of outsourcing production and
sometimes sacrificing quality control for profits, our products are
manufactured and assembled in the United States, to the highest
standards. In doing so, HTD Heat Trace continues to expand worldwide sales by
providing superior quality products and innovative solutions at globally
competitive prices.
